How do I play?
Athlete Imposter is a pass-and-play party game for 3 to 10 people on one phone, with athletes from basketball and football.
- Add everyone’s name in the lobby, pick a sport and your packs.
- Pass the phone around. Each player presses and holds the card to see the secret athlete, then lifts to hide it. The Imposter sees a blank card instead.
- Going around the room, everyone says one word about the athlete.
- Talk it out and decide who’s bluffing, then reveal the Imposter and the athlete.
How do I reset the roster?
Open Settings in the app and tap Reset roster, then confirm. This clears the names in the lobby and keeps your other settings. The option only appears when the roster has at least one name in it.
How do I restore my purchases?
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you’re signed in to the App Store with the same Apple ID you used to buy. Purchases can’t be moved between Apple IDs.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, choose Athlete Imposter and tap Cancel Subscription. You can also get there from the app: open Settings and tap Manage Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel the subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue refunds directly because we never receive your payment details.
Request a name removal
If you’re an athlete, or you represent one, and want a name removed from the game, email welkenbachbusiness@gmail.com with the subject “Name removal”. We’ll remove it in the next app update.
